In the mentioned health and social care firm, there are number of employees who are providing their services through their own skills and abilities. However, I am one of the employee working in this firm since 3 three years and delivering services to every individual who have been visited here for treatment (Andrews and Russell, 2012). However, there are number of roles and responsibilities that are very crucial to be possessed by employees working in this health and social care organisation. Few of them have been explained below:

Apart from patients the first and foremost responsibility of employees in health and social care is take care of himself or herself. It is because, if they will be fit tan only it is possible to treat someone else.
Another crucial role of employees is to not to wear any kind of jewellery or ornament during operating any machinery item. This thing is to be well taken care of because even a minor mistake can also lead to hazardous situation.

Regarding female employee, it is very important for them to tie their long hairs because it is very dangerous if their hair get caught in machinery. In order to avoid this situation, it is advisable for them to wear a scarf.

Employees must have to report all the injuries, strains and illness to their employers. In return, their employers can provide ideal ways to cure those particular problems or injuries. Health and social care firms provides and health and safety tool kits to their members. In this context, employees must not make misuse of any of the property given by their employers. Whenever, staff members are facing any problem such as pregnancy, injury or any other physical problem, it is necessary for them to contact their employers so they can take appropriate actions. If employees do not share their problems to superiors, it may be possible that they get suspended.

1.2 Own effectiveness against defined performance objectives

In order to provide services in the form of treatment, I have defined some of the objectives for myself for gaining betterment in level of service. Though I have good understanding of my patients but many a time I realise that still there is requirement of some more knowledge to improve myself. There are number of patients whose nature is of very complex and at that time, it becomes necessary for me to handle them. With rare innovation in technical operations, I face difficulties in operating new tools and equipments (Feichtner, 2001). Therefore, it is very crucial for me to secure my future by keeping myself busy in all these things.

Whenever I receive complex cases to solve, I take help through books and journals but every time it is not possible for me to go through the same process. In this kind of situations, it becomes necessary not only for me but for every individual who is indulged in this type of services. Apart from all these things, another most important requirement for me is to have good communication skills. In every health and social care firm, communication is the most important necessity because it is the only way through which problems of patients can be identified. I need to focus on my way or method of communicating with others in health and social care.

1.3 Recommendations in improvement of skills

With thorough analysis of my own performance, it has been identified that I am weak in communicating with people or patients existing the health care (Griffin and Annulis, 2013). I will recommend myself to approach for proper communicating training program through which I can develop my skills in talking with my clients. I can also improve my way of communicating through reading books and journals. Backwardness in communication is the only major factor responsible for hindering my performance. Another weakness I have identified in myself is, I am not able to solve issues of people in swift manner. I need some time to recognize their actual problem and than only I can cure them. I also need to get good knowledge about leadership skills because I if possess good leadership style, I can keep more appropriate control on my people. Good leadership skills help to manage and guide patients in best possible manner. However, leadership skills can be acquired by observing behaviour of my senior and top level managers. Through copying their nature and way of communication, I can also practice the same for developing myself. Through attending different seminars, I can improve my leadership skills i]n best possible manner.
